Are you looking to upgrade your existing equipment?

In BC it is required by the BC building code in section 9 to have a heat load calculation done.  This is required before a quote can be given.  This can take a day to measure out and complete, therefore it is not a free service and will be billed hourly.  We will give a free quote upon completing  or receiving a heat load calculation.

Fill out the form below and let's set up a time for a site visit.

Our Story

The Industry Training Authority (ITA) now called Skilled Trades used Kirsten as an advocate for Youth in the trades.  This was filmed when she was 20 years old.

Kirsten van Breevoort, the owner of Confluence Heating and Cooling Ltd. was born and raised in the East Kootenays in Golden.

Trades runs in her family from her father owning a residential home building company to her Mother teaching Home Economics in the local high school.  Her older siblings all followed suit in the trades with Welding, Fabrication, Painting, Electrical, Automotive, Culinary and then Kirsten a wide variety but specialized in Refrigeration.

Life took Kirsten to Castlegar BC in 2020 where she now calls home.  Where better to start a company than a place that you want to settle in and make your home?  Kirsten has an extensive history of volunteering locally and internationally in a variety of sectors, however mainly in the trades.  She has spent 3 winters in East Africa helping as a Facilities Manager for Pamoja Ministries.

She values collaborating with others to create the best outcome for a project.  Having been to 27 countries worldwide, she has an appreciation for the diversity each one of us has to bring to the table.
